Cherry Blossom's and Images Within | Federal Way Photographer

The first cherry blossom's are appearing, heralding spring's arrival. I like the contrast of the lively pink blossoms against the somber background, as in life renewed after a sleepy dormant winter. Photographed from my within my warm, dry kitchen on a cool, windy, rainy day.

Recent Garden photos

The garden has really grown a lot since the front yard renovation last summer, so here's a photo update. We can create your outdoor portraits in any of these wonderful areas, and you are welcome to take a stroll thru the garden during your next visit to the studio.

The front porch, and one of my favorite places to enjoy the garden; the swing.

Side path with tropical area including hardy bananas.

Entrance to back yard.Right side sitting and shade area under tree.

Left side sitting area with luscious purple clematis on trellis.
Fondly referred to as "The Outback", this is the area on the other side of the English Laurel hedge, which previously was a mess of scrub trees and overgrown blackberries.

View to the left and the arbor Randy recently built for the swing. Split rail fence built from trees we removed.Pathway leading to the back field.

First Day of Spring!

Yay, spring is here! All the rain we've been having should encourage the garden to reawaken. I'm anxious to see what plants survived the winter we had, and am so ready for sunshine and warmth.

More snow!

The snow just keeps falling, with more predicted, and the roads are bad. Sadly, we may have to cancel traveling to visit family up North. It sure is pretty though, a few more photos from today.
