Artistic enhancement - vote for your favorite

Here's a portrait of Amelia, who I've been photographing since she was a baby. The first image has the retouching I normally do, plus a bit of soft effect, leaving the eyes sharp. On the second image I applied a soft grain effect, which I think really enhances this image nicely. Which is your favorite? Post a comment with your vote.

I'm a member of several professional photographer organizations and often participate in print competitions.
